Welcome to the spring AESIN Newsletter. Off the back of our recent success at the Virtual AESIN Automotive Electronics Summit, we look forward to our upcoming AESIN Virtual Security Conference, to be held on 21st of July, chaired and supported by Thales. If you missed out on the AESIN Summit in April, feel free to read our blog on the event and members can download the presentations given.

We already have an exciting line up announced for the 2021 AESIN Conference including Dr Joanna White, Head of Intelligent Transport Systems, Highways England and Mike Bell, Chief Innovation Officer, Ricardo plus many more. We are accepting applications to speak at the AESIN Conference so if you would like to present at the UK’s Premier Automotive Electronics Conference, I encourage you to contact us.

Another exciting piece of news announced this month is that the TechWorks Awards are now accepting award applications. There are several prestigious awards up for grabs, in particular the AESIN Automotive Electronics Innovation & Excellence Award.

AESIN increasingly works with member organisations, Government and external stakeholders to collaborate, partner and enable innovation. We continue to promote the funding calls announced by Driving the Electric Revolution (DER), Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC), CCAV and Innovate UK .

I would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest members, Quantum Power Transformation Ltd and Swansea University. If you would like to collaborate with our new members or the wider AESIN membership, please get in touch and we can make introductions.
